How do I get help with my subscription?

What if I forget my user name and/or password?
You can retrieve your login information using our online
Password Reminder. Or, call the Help Desk
7AM - 1AM EST Monday - Friday
8AM - 8PM EST Saturday & Sunday
at 1-800-448-1237 (U.S.) or 1-617-746-2874 (from outside the U.S.).
We will ask for your name and address, and will access your account online. We
will then email the user name for your account to the email address supplied
upon registration. Since passwords are encrypted, we cannot determine your
original password. We will change your password to a generic password, email
that to your specified email address, and then you have the option to change
your password.
When does my subscription start?
Your subscription starts as soon as your payment clears. For subscriptions
ordered online with a credit card, this will be as soon as the credit card
transaction is complete. For orders mailed or faxed to our Order Department,
this will be when your payment is recorded; you will receive e-mail
notification when the subscription begins.
How will I renew my subscription?
You will be contacted via e-mail before your subscription expires and you will
be able to renew your subscription for another year. Renewals can be entered
online or by mailing or faxing them to our Order Department.
How can I evaluate the site before I make a purchase decision?
AccessEmergency Medicine offers a simple Look Inside Free feature that allows you to
examine the breadth of content and view select features.
How private is the information that I supply in my registration form?
The information that you supply is covered by McGraw-Hill's Privacy Policy and
is used to provide you with the best possible service for AccessEmergency Medicine.

Can I share my individual subscription with others?
No. Individual subscriptions are licensed only to the user who purchased the
subscription. When you agreed to the Terms of
Service Agreement, you agreed to keep your User Name and Password
confidential.
How do I change information in my personal profile, for example, a new address
or telephone number?
E-mail the new information to our Customer Service department at
OnlineCustomer_Service@mcgraw-hill.com. Please include your username in
the e-mail.
Can AccessEmergency Medicine accommodate multi-user licenses by IP address or User
Name/Password configurations?

How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription up to 6 months after the start of your paid
subscription. A cancellation is effective on the last day of the month in which
it is received. Refunds will be prorated over the remaining term of the
subscription starting with the month after the cancellation notice is given.
For example, if you pay for your subscription on January 1 and cancel on May 7,
the cancellation will be effective May 31, and you will be refunded for the
period June 1 - December 31. For cancellations received after 6 months, there
will be no refund. To cancel, contact our Customer Service department at
OnlineCustomer_Service@mcgraw-hill.com.
Display/Browser Support
Why don't I see more of the page when I go to a chapter?
How much of the page you see depends on your monitor screen resolution. We
recommend viewing at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 (for best results) or
800 x 600.
Which browsers and platforms are supported? Which are not supported?
AccessEmergency Medicine currently supports the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser (5.0
and later), Netscape Navigator browser (7.1 and later), and Mozilla Firefox
browser on the MS Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

What software do I need to play video files?
You need Macromedia’s free Flash Player (Version 8 or higher).

Why can't I hear the audio when I play the videos?
Make sure you have your speakers turned on and up to a sufficient volume and
that your computer’s system sound is not set to mute or too low a volume.
